When entertaining a large group of guests, it helps to have one signature drink that can be self served. A beautiful Sangria, arranged with pretty glasses, is inviting and simple. This drink should be made the day ahead, which also helps to alleviate last minute pressure on the host or hostess!
For this Sangria you will need:
Two bottles of Red Wine ( I used Cabernet)
Two cups of Peach Brandy
Two Tangerines (cubed)
Two Apples ( cubed)
Two Pears ( Cubed)
One cup of Pomegranate Juice
4 whole Cinnamon Sticks
- My favorite red wine is Cabernet, but you can choose your favorite red that is not too sweet! The Peach Brandy and the fruit add enough sweetness to the Sangria.
- Fresh fruit gives wonderful flavor to this Sangria
- Using two separate containers leaves room to give it a shake.
- Dice up the fresh apples, oranges, and pears. Add a cinnamon stick or two.
- Cover the fruit with wine and brandy.
- One Bottle of wine, one cup of brandy, and half cup of Pom juice per container. Refrigerate over night, or up to two days.
- Serve with pretty glasses! You can serve extra Peach Brandy on the side for those who prefer to punch it up a bit:) ….Gingerale or lemon lime seltzer for the guests who prefer to take it down a notch! Make it a Happy Thanksgiving!
