I love January!

I love everything about this gorgeous month that says …”Slow down, feel lighter, the best is yet to come…”

This morning when I opened up my Momentum browser, the quote that was quietly sitting at the bottom read “Change is the essence of life; be willing to surrender what you are for what you could become.” Reinhold Niebuhr

This has been my story.

I love the fact that we learn lessons from experiences and stages of our lives…That who we are, or what we are at the moment, can change, and be even better…

Yesterday I had stopped to drop something to one of the boys at school, and a teacher gave me a hug and said “I miss you! I miss having you here!” …As great as that was to hear…I had to respond that …”As much as I miss being here…is as much as I Love all the fun I’m having!”

This is what it means to change…

We can be good at many things…but great at just a few…and we can only truly be great at the things that we love doing.

So my New Years Goal is to Do More…of the same…because it’s fun…and makes me happy~

I dream in mason jars, veggies, salads and side dishes! #freshisbest has become my motto. #feedthefamily my latest ambition.

I am motivated by our conversations, some with whom have become more like friends and even an extended family. I love to hear what’s cooking in your kitchen, or what’s been served at your favorite eatery.

Mostly, I love The Butcher, Our family, Cooking at the Meat Market….and the possibility that The Best is Yet to Come!
